Cloverfield: ReviewMy thoughts. No fancy editing this time. Just a quick review. I thought it was alright, definitely put godzilla to shame. The filming style was a little hard on the eyes. i saw it today after school with some friends, and i (along w/ one of my friends) thaught that the guy who was filming basically made the movie. i couldnt get over the fact that the guy (i think his name is hudd) is flirting with that girl while on a run for their lives. kinda humorous. I still want to see this even though there have been mixed reviews. If it provides any sort of thrill or suspense then it's worth seeing at least once. If you need any indication of the hype, theres all these vids here on youtube speculating about the monster. Can't wait for the top 10 big-monsters. I seen Cloverfield. Many people just spent soo much time worrying about, "Oh, its being filmed with a shaky camera", that they really didn't see how decent this movie was. I thought the whole "being filmed with a shakey camera" thing added realism... |
